Yes, it is a real Cougar!

He's not mine, but I do love cats and have two of the smaller variety. They are a Tabby and a Tortsie (calico tabby) named Thelma and Louise. I refer to them as "the fugitives" and they are into everything! They keep me company when I'm not hanging with the Pimpdaddy and the other Hot Topics. I bet you're wondering who the Pimpdaddy and the Hot Topics are...well I'll dispel any rumors that might be brewing in your mind. They are merely a group of Environmental Science graduate students at Texas Christian University comprised of one lucky man and several women.

Yes, I'm back in school!

I completed my undergraduate degree also at Texas Christian University and took some time before deciding to come back to school. I spent the past three years working at The Lower Colorado River Authority in Austin, Texas. I was the System Administrator for the laboratory information management system (LIMS) in the Environmental Lab. I'm really glad to be here and so far, so good!

Yes, I have a life outside of school!

My interests are very diverse. I began travelling at a very young age with my Army dad. We lived in Germany for 3 years and travelled throughout Europe. Recently, I've been seeing more of the far corners of the United States. The outdoors centers me, I try to do a lot of hiking , biking, swimming , SCUBA diving and volleyball. However, I can be a couch potato with the best, watching TV, movies, reading, listening to music, drinking wine and doing crafts. To fortify myself for those extended periods spent hoisting wine glasses, and to complement the wine itself, I try a little gourmet cooking every now and then.
