Brief Photo History

Academic Background

I received my bachelors degree in Geology from Centenury College of Louisiana . After graduation, I indulged in several meaningful activities before leaving for graduate school. During this time, I worked several jobs (including one @ an outdoor ice skating rink in Houston, Texas), attended a clinic on white-water boating, and built my own sea-kayak. Now, at Texas Christian University , I am in the final stages of completing my thesis project...

Thesis Project

My thesis project is to map and evaluate the strain elements recorded in the eastern Slickhills of southern Oklahoma. Techniques used to collect data for this project include: remote sensing, field surveying, measuring trends and attitudes in the field, surveying ground points (GPS), rectifying maps, and digitizing lineaments on aerial photographs. Formats used to present data include: maps, cross-sections, annotated photographs, and statistical plots. These materials are than used to determine the geophysical nature of the eastern Slickhills; Supervisor: Dr. Donovan

Career Objectives

With graduation approaching, I am aggressively looking for full-time employment. I presently work part-time in the research & development department at Computalog ,the third largest oil service company in the United States. By May I hope to start my career as a geologist, environmental scientist, or geophysicist. Entry-level positions with good career potential are ideal. The fields I am considering include: environmental consulting, oil and gas exploration, and wellbore technology. If you would like to review my credentials please refer to my resume page.
