I was introduced to Geology at a very young age.  My grandfather was a petroleum geologist and always had various rocks and minerals laying around his house.  This inspired me to enter the Geology program my sophomore year.  Since then I have participated in the Geology Club for the past two and a half years and taken numerous field trips.  There is nothing quite like camping out in a hail storm!

What really draws me to geology is all the history and unanswered questions.  I have studied everything from the dinosaurs to how sediment is deposited.  To me, there is no boring aspect of geology.

Here are some of my favorite geology links for reference, liesure, and photos.
