HI. I'm Amy Murray Callaway. I was born in Savannah, Georgia, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I received a Bachelor of Science in geology from Georgia Southern University. After attending hell um I mean field school at University of Nevada at Reno, I moved to Texas. WHY, you ask. To continue my search for knowledge, and to attend graduate school at Texas Christian University . I'm currently (1997) in my first year of graduate school, I plan on receiving a Master's in Geology, hopefully in 1999.
Just in case your wondering about the picture above, yes the PINK bike is chained to a bike rack. This would be one of my many fond memories of GSU. This particular memory is from my freshman year. I spent four years at GSU, located in Statesboro, GA. This is only about 1 hour from Savannah.
WHY? Not only do you ask this question, but I ask myself: Why am I in Texas? Well TCU offered me a Teaching Assistantship, and well, I excepted. But I'm still a little freaked out by all the cowboy attire, no not football. I'm referring to the boots, hat and of course the belt buckles that one could use as a dinner plate. Speaking of football no I'm not a Cowboys fan, and don't plan on being converted to one. And to everyone who swore I'd return to Georgia with boots and the whole cowgirl attire, I DON'T THINK SO!
