Mansfield, Georgia
This is home since January, 1985. My father's job transferred us down to
Georgia from Chicago, Illinois; man, what a shock that was (cultural, climatic, population, etc.)! However, it was a good shock, in my opinion; Georgia is a great place to live. We moved from a suburb of >70,000 to a small town of ~350!! We were able to afford the small farm that my mother had always wanted, which was the best part of the whole deal. I've included pictures of some of my favorite family members to share with you (Note the snow...this is highly atypical of GA). Here's our (late)
Great Pyrenees, Ivan the Terrible, who watched religiously for 8 years over our flock of sheep:
Is that not a magnificent dog?! We went from a horse farm (...and a mule!) to a sheep farm within about 1.5 years of living in Georgia. Here is my buddy, Nikki. He is a Morgan horse with an excellent disposition:
