MY RECENT MARRIAGE
NEWLYWEDS!
This is my husband, Otan, and me. We were married by my father on 15 July 1995 at my folk`s home in Mansfield, GA.. We had a beautiful wedding with our most favorite people present...what a great day!.
Our History:
I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Geology in Dec. 1994 and went to work for Savannah Laboratories & Environmental Co., Savannah, GA for 5 months. Otan graduated from Georgia Southern University with a B.S. in Computer Science in Aug. 1995. During the meantime, we got married, and I got accepted to the Geology Graduate Program at Texas Christian University (yeah!). So, three days after Otan walked with his diploma, we packed it up and moved to Fort Worth, TX.
Our Current Endeavors:
- Otan: Since 22 October 1995, Otan has been working with Ernst & Young LLP as the Network Administrator for the National Accounting Center in Dallas. However, Otan has since been promoted to Infrastructure Engineer with the regional office (also in Dallas)! ...definitely doing alright for 1.5 yrs. out of college! To date, he has completed 5 of 7 Novel Certified Network Engineer tests.
- I am currently concentrating on my thesis work under Dr. R. Nowell Donovan and have completed all graduate level coursework as of December 1996. I was also recently employed by Union Pacific Resources as a Geology Intern for the summer, 1997...getting closer to the real-world!
Our Interests:
Together, we like to ride bikes--mountain bikes and especially motorbikes! We both have our motorcycle licenses and wait for the day when we can afford matching Harleys! We had a Yamaha Maxim (below), but had to leave it in GA.
We love to spend time together and with friends. We both scuba-dive (though not in TX, unfortunately), and we both love to eat!
Otan plays with his computer and reads electronic-stuff magazines during most of his free time. I like to roller-blade and play with our beautiful bird, Jimmy.
