·         Active strike-slip faulting, deformation, and plate boundary evolution of the Baja California peninsula

·         Terrane accretion and its effects on continental margin systems

·         Structural and tectonic evolution of the Peninsular Ranges batholith of southern and Baja California

·         Temporal and spatial variation of displacement fields (i.e. translation, rotation, strain, and volume change) in magmatic arcs

·         Application of paleomagnetic techniques and detrital zircon geochronology to provenance studies

·         Correlations between strain, paleomagnetism, and the Anisotropy of Magnetic Susceptibility
