September 1, 2009-Filo Maldonado, Associate Dean of Admissions at Texas A&M College of Medicine, discusses the expansion of A&M medical-school faculities to Round Rock, Bryan, and Houston as well as expansion at Temple. This was followed by an informative discussion on medical school interviews.

| September 11, 2009-Ah, the taste of lemonaide, brisket, chicken, brownies and other goodies! Texas Zeta takes a collective break at Dr. and Mrs. Hartman's for some food and festivities. We were treated to a visit by Dean Kouris (the new dean of the College of Science and Engineering) and his family. Despite a warm afternoon, a good time was had by all. |

September 15, 2009-Dr. Steve Brotherton, an orthopedic surgeon, shared his insights on topics such as the demands of medicine, the responsibility of physicians to give back to the community, and the joys of practicing medicine. A TCU graduate, he is one busy person! |

September 29, 2009-Dr. Jeff Murray, who specializes in pediatric hematology/oncology with particular emphasis on brain cancer in children, overviewed the current status of the field as well as the superb factilities/practicioners at Cook Childrens. |

October 6, 2009-Dr. Florence Eddins-Folensbee, Associate Dean of Admissions at Baylor College of Medicine, ventured up to the Fort to discuss the curriculum and opportunities at BCOM and Texas Medical Center. It was great to have her visit us!! |

| October 16, 2009-Texas Zeta makes a field trip to the Ronald McDonald house next to Cook Children's Medical Center in order to provide dinner for the residents. A total of 14 future doctor/chiefs in the making participated in this fun and beneficial event. |

October 20, 2009-Dr. David Bryant, an Emergency Physician, gave us a stimilating lecture on the various sorts of trauma that he sees at work. He spoke passionately about both the rewards and rigors of medicine. |
